Wave Crash has 75 Power but Flare Blitz has 100 in this game. It looks like it's going to be a worse version if it doesn't have added affect in main games.
If that is the case it might be more accurate to guess that it is a clone of Wild Charge rather than Flare Blitz, in terms of power at least. Or, worst case scenario, it ends up as a clone of either Take Down or Submission.
Roost is a big deal for Empoleon, no? How big of a viability changer is this?
Really big, one of the only things that retain it from viability in OU.
Steel/Water is excellent, and it boasts greats stats, both offensive for Scald, and defensive to tank. Has SR's, Defog, Phazing. Really a great mon, Healing is a big buff.
I wonder when we will have a list of new moves for old Pokémon.
It's actually likely to be a priority move.

It’s basically a broken Protean/Libero. We love it. The God is finally HERE.

Damn Arceus just took a look at Zacian and Mega Rayquaza one upping it and said "I choose super effective Violence"
Something kinda cool about White-Stripe Basculin I just realized.
The original Red- and Blue-Stripe Basculins are mechanically almost completely identical, with their sole differentiator being how they use recoil moves. Red-Stripe Basculin deals increased damage with its Reckless ability, while Blue-Stripe Basculin protects itself from recoil with its Rock Head ability. At first glace, White-Stripe Basculin doesn't have any specific way to abuse recoil moves, since its unique ability it Rattled. However, it actually does have an interaction with recoil moves: it uses them to evolve.

This move seems more like Wild Charge.
Huh, I thought Wave Crash was the signature move of Basculin-W/Basculegion. Glad to know it isn't the case. Makes me wonder if any of the other presumed signature moves are available to other pokémon?
I could see Infernape getting Raging Fury and Torterra getting Chloroblast. Completes the set, plus both moves work with those mons.
So basically you run Calm Mind, Judgement, Refresh, and Recover and you can completely destroy stall since Arceus is imposter proof thanks to the Sp. Def boosts.
There is still the possibility that it fails to take into account abilities or items when calculating effectiveness, so you could end up losing to a ground-weak mon with Levitate or an Air Balloon.
On that topic, how does it decide which Type Arceus will change into while using Judgment? Like if you are up against a Dragon type, how does it decide to change you into a Dragon, Fairy, or Ice?
It's probably just random, like Conversion 2.
Also, with the new Hidden Power and Legend Judgement having the same effect, another link is formed between Unown and Arceus.
Of the seven or so Fighting-type moves in PLA, only Rock Smash, Close Combat and maaaybe Aura Sphere seem like they would fit H-Lilligant. Outside of PLA, moves like Low Kick, Low Sweep and High Jump Kick seem like safe bets.
