Also, does anybody else wonder how the hell we LOST a Mario rep? Unless Wario actually counts as a Mario character (in that case it breaks even). It's the only one of the big four that lost a rep, which doesn't seem right to me.
 
heh... for some reason im not fully pleased with the new roster =0!

nah, i like it. wolf should be nice.

i know for sure im going to main all the floaters except kirby. dedede, pit, metaknight, jiggs, etc are all going to be the shit!
 
I'm betting my money Wolf goes right there and pushes every character to line up vertically with reps form the same series.

Well, that was how it was shown in the mockup IIRC, so it wouldn't be a huge shock. Now if all the icons shrunk after Wolf was added, that'd be something big hahaha. But yeah, that's likely how this is going down.

I believe Bowser will get the shaft down to Wario to align with all other Mushroom reps, and the bottom row will be rearranged a bit to get Lucas aligned with Ness, and Jiggs with her other poke-buddies. :@

Dark Toon Link, haha. I'm hoping Toon Link isn't a complete clone like he is making out to be. -_-
 
hmm, i'm fairly sure "toon link" is just the jtranslation of WindWaker or Young Link like how Koopa and Purin is how they have Bowser and Jiggly named.

at least i'm hoping, i would never play no character named "toon link" >.>;
 
if nobody has found him, he most likely will be the next mewtwo in terms of unlockables. i hope they dont make it so we have to work hard to get him. in smash we could just leave our gamecubes on overnight.

Issac was indeed the only fan boy dream i had. Along with Ridley and the return of Mewtwo, actually Mewtwo getting the kick for that average Lucario was the only thing i disliked completely.

So anyway, the game looks great and SSE very fun to play.

Now i love this stage, i don't know. Your feelings about it?.

Waio is ok, i wouldnt have stand for it if they put that abomination called waluigi in as a playable character.
 
We've been ROB'd of a roster spot...and Wolf? Bleh. I guess we know why they haven't been put on the dojo, eh? Lame. I am glad that Ness, G-Dorf, and Falco are back, but, still....the roster failed to deliver on its promise, IMO.

Yes. The whole farting thing is pointless and just makes it seem like he is there for some low-quality 'comic relief'.

WW-Link will probably play like young link, im hoping a final smash will either be the skull hammer, or using the wind waker to create a strong wind to blow stuff off the stage or something.

Looks awesome so far though.
 
There wasn't a promise, though.

I'm simply confused that about half the characters that ranked high on Sakurai's poll didn't make it as playable characters. That and with Inafune saying he'd have liked Mega Man in the game and him being on the poll, someone at Sora, Inc/Hal labs dropped the ball.

Personally, Wolf seems unnecessary (though, if he does come with an eye patch he'll be a-okay) and R.O.B...well, who here HAD a R.O.B. for their NES? I'm pretty sure the power glove and virtual boy were more common and successful than R.O.B.

Even so, the roster still looks awesome, SSE will be a freaking blast, I still love events, and I know that I'm going to be enjoying this game for the next 7+ years, just like I did with Melee.
 
Wario has his independent franchise, which makes him understandable, if you people think Wario is a waste of space is exactly what i feel about Lucario :P.
