SPOILERS! Scarlet & Violet Leaks Thread - Data/Mechanics

Did you hear thats what the moves do or thats a guess based on their names? I don't see drought being a big help to many of those past pokemon, and only some of the futures benifit electric terrain.
I think Khu stated as such about the past Pokémon, that none of them are Fire-type and therefore their ability has worse synergy with Koraidon’s ability when compared to the future Pokémon’s ability and its synergy with Miraidon’s ability. That and the name Protosynthesis clearly being a play off of photosynthesis seems to imply a connection with the sun weather.

Interesting that even the “Low Power” forms have unchanged stats. I’m assuming only the proper, cover mascot forms are usable in battle (which is what I mostly expected, but since there was some talk of the Raidons having bespoke held items, I figured there was at least a chance of a Zacian/Zamazenta-H situation).

Those ability names are pretty sick

So do the Paradox Pokemon get Beast Boost like abilities? All the past ones get Protosynthesis and all the the future ones gets Quark Drive. Sound like they also have to do with the Drought/Electric Surge clones too.

Khu once said that he sees a bit of Kyogre/Groudon in the new duo with regard to their combat abilities.
Then the internet obnoxiously telephoned these words into "LOLDROUGHT LOLSURGE."
Tale as old as time, really.

Who the heck thought those are actual legit -Glide form sprites? If the box legends can have at least 2 separate sprites each, surely they can spread their "wings" for a 3rd sprite each.
I'm pretty sure the "forms" can't be used in battle, we saw from the first leaker that your 'raidon get's shown under the party at all times, they probably just made them actual forms so they didn't need to write any extra code to display the ride sprite.

tbf, they have nerfed stuff in the past that didn't need to be nerfed. Namely moves getting BP nerfs for basically no reason and Bug getting a new resistance in Fairy. Also things like Dynamax just blocking certain moves it had 0 reason to block like weight based moves.

The move BP nerf wasn't really random. It was dialing back the power of a lot of standard moves to lower the overall power level.

Dynamax on the other hand is just bad game design but that isn't reall

I don't know about the validity of anything anymore but this seems to be the full version of the cropped sheet and paradox sprites

Yeah i don't know what to trust rn. Hard to tell when 4chan is being 4chan or when they are actually being helpful when it comes to these sorts of things.

The thing that makes me question this is why one paradox each gas a higher bst than all the others of their respective games. And some stat spreads just look weird. And others just seem like beefed hp versions of their regular counterparts.

And then paradox Delibird is just random. Fast specially offensive water/ice...? I mean i would love it but i don't buy it.

Ah so people are just assuming. figures

Jigglypuff got a whopping... *checks notes* +0 to HP. It also got +20 to both attacking stats and... +79 Defense, +90 SpDef, and +90 Speed.

That is one buff puff. Guess more of a tank then an attacker. wonder if it has good stall moves. You dont really see a fast tank often

IIRC it was mentioned that there's two different "kinds" of paradoxes, seems like the base stat totals is what the leaker meant.

EDIT:

I'm curious how AncientPuff's 115/99/115 defenses stack against Pex's 50/152/142
(EDIT: Apparently it is bulkier. Question is would AncientPuff get stuff to let it stall)

He also mentioned the two abilities by name and later said he hinted at the legendary effects.

Overall I think I'm going to call it a night. I don't really understand what happened today, but it's been a wild ride and I guess at least someone is doing something with the game in private. Hopefully things can be more transparent later on.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOENN is the new KANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Really, Hoenn has been getting shilled almost as much as Kanto. Probably the second most shilled region in the series history.

Here what I suspect the legend’s base stats are gonna look like (it’s probably at least a little obvious but I’m throwing it out here anyways):
Koraidon: 100/150/150/80/110/90
Miraidon: 90/80/110/150/150/100
And yes, 80 is most likely the new minimum for major-legendary base stats thanks to Zacian and Zamazenta.

Now to wait 3 and a half months and see how correct this is.

Well other than the Speed stats I got the general stat lines for the Raidons right. Tho I did go overboard concerning the higher defenses.

On the other hand I did get the fact that their lesser offense would go below 90 right.

Surprised that they seem to cap at 670 BST with no alternate in-battle formes. Not that it matters too much though because both of them have really great statlines; looks like we’re probably not gonna have another Zamazenta situation, thank god.
Groudon and Kyogre are also 670, so it makes sense if these two are also weather setters.

The Hydreigon statline leaves me utterly confused...so much so im almost convinced this isnt Hydreigon but Zweilous we're supposed to be comparing to. every stat gets worse from base besides 2HP and 10 speed for mr Jugulis here, and non of the other psuedos follow this distributiion
