A glimpse of Koraidon's signature move, a bit of its ability, and a hammer minisprite. Looks like it might set sun itself as suspected but also boost Attack during sun.
Well, it became un-dead, so it couldn't find peace in death. It just got even angrier.

It's also just legitimately very cool. Great design. The fact it's circumvented expectation is more to do with Pokémon's terrible precedent as opposed to the mon itself, but hey.
Ok so the cat isn't a massive furbait (but still furbait), the grass female mon didn't become a massive waifumon (just kinda waifu-y), and Primeape became Akuma.

SE fighting move even stronger and gets plus 1 attack in sun that he himself settes. Noice.
Wow, I never expected it to actually set sun since it's not a Fire-type.
So this legitimately might be the best set of new Pokémon since Gen 5 ? Gen 6 ?
You can see the ability from here. Looks like it literally is just a "Past Paradox + Koraidon are boosted by Sun, Future Paradox + Miraidon are boosted by Electric Terrain". Feels strange that Pincurchin will be used by Future Paradox then if Tapus or Restricted aren't allowed

I'm pretty sure this evo line is here to introduce the gameplay gimmick of monster drops, and using them to evolve these Pokémon

Groudon was set up as the opposite of the sea which was represented by rain. Setting sun made sense then even if it didn't benefit from it.
Here the opposite of the sun is.... Electric terrain? I guess?
So the hammer is not made out of Corviknights but out of poor pawniards. I wish there was a final evo completely covered in metal.

First bullies groups of Pawniard and Bisharp to steal their metal (remember their metal is part of its body) to make a giant hammer, then uses said hammer to throw rocks at Corviknights.
This mon is mad af.
i guess the intent is the sun beats down on the ancient world (also it IS a classic lizard, sun bathing and all, i guess?) where as the electric terrain powers up the robots
Absolutely MENACING VGC ability. Immune to Icy Wind and boosted by Tailwind? That's crazy
