SPOILERS! Scarlet & Violet Leaks Thread - Data/Mechanics

Tidy Up

The user tidies up and removes the effects of Spikes, Stealth Rock, Sticky Web, Toxic Spikes, and Substitute. This also boosts the user’s Attack and Speed stats.

Another take on Rapid Spin but without damage if I am reading that right.

It removes substitute, something rapid spin can technically do but no. In fact the removal of subs is great since it can boost in the face of certain mons without needing to break the sub inmediatly.

Powder & Mat Block being gone are funny because in SWSH
-Mat Block was actually fully functional. It had an animation and everything, but the only way to use it in SWSH...was by breeding it onto Throh and transferring it over. The fact it was usable at all was basically an oversight. And obviously, Greninja never came back
-Powder was one of those instances of the move existing (it had a normal description), but you couldn't actually use it. Vivillon wasn't in the game anyway so not a big deal except..........Ribombee could use it through breeding in USUM. So if you transferred that over you had a move that LOOKED like you could use it, but couldn't

And now both Greninja & Vivillon are back but neither of their moves were, even the one that was already ready to go.

I am waiting for the scorvillain stats right now. (favorite so far) I am ready to be disappointed with a 70/95/80/95/70/65 spread
Same - that spicy extract move will make it or break it for me. If it's +3 atk/-3 def I'm sold; otherwise, why should i care about a +2 atk/-2 def move..it's growth/swords dance with a setback for no reason :/

I noticed someone said that the pseudo's first stage had a different name, but I checked the spreadsheet and couldn't find it. What's the updated name again? (Sorry, I just can't bear to scroll through another 40 pages just to find it again)

this move seems a bit self-defeating. icetar would have to have heavy-duty boots to actually utilize it without setbacks since it's weak to rocks. it's like, lets just add a random secondary effect to dragon dance cuz it's a pseudo .

edit: i take it back. now that i think of it, that shed tail move might actually be used a lot in singles. this might be the answer to that.

Cresselia's move being reworked into Jungle Healing is... kind of horrifying to be honest

Also wondering if decid's move still increases crit chance. Or in general if there's any Water Bubble situation where an important bit of the abil is left out of the description and hidden in code

Triple Arrows:

The user kicks, then fires three arrows. This move has a heightened chance of landing a critical hit and may also lower the target’s Defense stat or make it flinch.

Infernal Parade:

The user attacks with myriad fireballs. This may also leave the target with a burn. This move’s power is doubled if the target has a status condition.

Ceaseless Edge:

The user slashes its shell blade at the target, aiming land a critical hit. Shell splinters left behind by this attack remain scattered under the target as spikes.

PLA Starter moves for those wondering

oh shite... i stand corrected :D

does that mean it procs defiant/competitive?
Most likely not. In the past they haven't proceed when the drop is triggered by an ally's move.

I'm hoping that's different for abilities tho since the abilities of the quartet lower ally stats too (at least by the current wording of the abilities).
