Because the entire premise of the 2nd question is that tiering action is happening so having no option is pointless
Basically, the second question is made for what you think the tiering action should be should tiering action be voted necessary. It allows even the people who voted for no action to be taken to get a say in what action should be taken if that's what is voted. So if tiering action is voted against, basically, the second question will be ignored in terms of what happens to Smogon rules. It may, however, be brought up if we get a second suspect test. That last part is just my guess though.I do only have one question: why is No Action not an option on this question? It, being the 2nd question itself, isn't affected by the 1st question or the answers to said question, so why can't one choice be 'keep as is?' It is a tiering action, though really I sorta just want clarification as to why it isn't an option for Q2.
Good point. It's gonna be tough but not impossible, but that's the point. Decent players can hit the reqs and that's what they are looking for. For those calling the reqs 'insane' need to go read the GXE thread about how it works, might help them realize how easy this one is. Especially with Tera being on the line and so many wanting to defend it, so the ladder will be flooded. It becomes easier to hit new peaks during suspects like these with the amount of games going on, the degree of natural variance, and so many newer players trying. Definitely do not think you're too far off either -- most people are getting reqs in the 1600s rn
Cyclizar + Grimmsnarl + four setup sweepers (one of them being Espathra) will get you pretty much anywhere you need to go.Is it okay to ask for a team to reach 80 GXE with?
My team building skills were always lacking and in gen 9 worse than ever tbh. I don't know if using someone else's team is okay to get reqs with though
What are y’all using to beat the unaware trio, especially Skeledirge. I’m struggling to beat them on offensive teams without giving up more set up offensive for utility
Do you not already have Ground, Ghost, and/or Dark coverage for things like Gholdengo?
PM me this weekend if you still need, we can go over strategies and I can pass some teamsIs it okay to ask for a team to reach 80 GXE with?

I mean I figured it be obvious when I said that I’m struggling against fairy skeledirge
I looked at the Ladder rankings.
Gen 9 OU Ladder shows the Top 500 players.
Players from Rank 150 to 500 had mostly GXE of 65% to 75%.
These players had Rankings of 1,800 to 1,700.
damn low ladder kinda brutal rn for a fresh alt to get reqs on, plus I feel like I'm in need of a completely new ladder team just to keep up with the flux of people coming in
was primarily using sun or a bulky offense team, anyone have recs for a good faster offensive team that isn't completely in hyper offense territory?
Inspired by a post in the Maushold thread, I'm wondering how Gravity could work in the current meta.
Disclaimer - thanks to Dexit the pool of setters is VERY limited, which sucks. In rough order of viability, there's the Pink Blobs, Sandy Shocks, Bronzong, Wigglytuff, and Stonjourner. However I feel there's definitely scope for how it could benefit teams, whether it's allowing 'mon like ChiYu or Iron Jugulis to use stronger stabs with less risk, or grounding Corviknight and Talonflame to be earthquake bait. Has anyone played around with it at all? I'm curious to make it work because I loved using Gigalith and Excadrill as a gravity combo in Gen8, it was gimmicky for sure but fun
The first few days of a suspect test is always the toughest because of the wide skill difference there to account for, especiall when it is so drastically different from how it was at the start of the gen. Normally there are a number of strats that can speedrun a new account to 1400+ but those teams often just autolose to other players trying to meet reqs. The fact that a single loss just nags at the back of your head just makes it that much worse.damn low ladder kinda brutal rn for a fresh alt to get reqs on, plus I feel like I'm in need of a completely new ladder team just to keep up with the flux of people coming in

Do you think I can reach the 80% GXE on new account?
Any team improvement to hit the 80% GXE threshold?
how do you you post the images in your post? do you use the "attack files" button or there is some other button? My current stats:

You can try to post this team in the RMT Subforum adding a description about what each pokemon provides for the team. Though at first glance the fact there are no tera types really stands out. If you are having trouble getting used to them or wondering what items work best on new mons maybe try some sample teams while you get used to Gen 9.
Don't hyperfocus on getting reqs. You can ofc do it if you put enough dedication, but working towards them takes time and it's not something as black and white as "I can/I can't".
That's because you haven't manually changed your tera typeAll my Pokémon have Terra Types.
It doesn’t transfer when I put it on a Pokepaste.
That's because you haven't manually changed your tera type
In-game your default tera type is your primary type, so since it hasn't been changed it's not worth being mentioned
Your primary typing is the first typing listed, your Skeledirge, for example, has a primary type of Fire. Not sure what you mean?
All my Pokémon have 2 Primary Types.
I picked the type which I think is more useful.
I Terra Skeledirge to Fire to amplify his Fire Attacks as example.
