Meh, maybe you're right on that particular point. I'm mostly just pushing that point because it makes a fairy rage. And I'm completely ok with being right for the wrong reason btw. I was 100% right on the bus drive vs bg & joat vs. role cop though. This was colored by my reads at the time as well.

I've never played with an absorber or gravedigger, but upon looking these up I don't think those roles are relevant to the discussion. The only role that could fake a town backup is a mafia mimic, because a mafia backup would get outed. I think neon is easily outed this game if he is mafia. His claim makes it highly probable that he is town.

I am pretty confident in my mechanics as a player, and it annoys me that we can't see eye to eye on it.
