it's disturbing how much role info mafia already has from thread. i wish laurel didn't do that guys flavor claim plzz it's dire thing and i wish people didn't respond to it with actual claims lol. but it's whatever now, not much that can be done to reverse it. gonna brush through my readslist again but i'm feeling like not a ton is changing yet, i do think in a celever town world that he's probably? hopefully? not just wrong about having me jalmont bluedoom as his main scumreads, i'd say bluedoom should survive there before jalmont does to be fair so i guess it's not the worst thing to let that wagon happen. but i gotta sort celever. i distrust the foundation for a lot of his reads, sometimes it just feels like he's able to hipfire his thoughts quickly enough that i can see them being authentic thoughts. he doesn't feel awkward this game which is potentially more of a positive

I was talking about saber with that which is a bit more pure for those types of concerns

I don't really townread Hydro. I just challenged M2H on townreading Hydro.

ah yeah i misread, my bad. didn't realize you were talking about saber there. i mean saber's reads have absolutely zero basis but i assume they're a new player so they're getting written in as not mafia on the grounds of expectations that it'd be easy to tell if they were mafia? i'm not even entertaining the idea of a saber townread because i just don't have anything to townread them off of. they kinda just come in thread, drop reads, and leave, and M2H gives them a gold star and a pat on the back

interactions was a bad way to phrase it. i remember alice kinda sticking their neck out for you in a way that i didn't view as partnered. they said something like "people are saying you're scummy but i don't really see it" in a way that seemed directed to you which would either be an attempt to appeal to you or just town communicating their thoughts to your slot, but not something i'd expect from two mafia partners if that makes sense

I have to start this post with the obligatory "I hate day 1 and think it's impossible to make good reads"

These are the people I think are pretty low dimensional and easy to have opinions on:

JALMONT - I don't like the JALMONT wagon at all, I just feel like I haven't seen anything from him that indicates non-towniness. And maybe this is just because I believe in a no-vote at heart even though I'm trying really hard to not no-vote day 1, but I feel like he is likely to contribute day 2 so it feels like a bad idea to vote him here. If I have to make a read I'm town-leaning here.

Pulsar - I read the stuff going on with her role, but ngl I don't understand what was happening there at all. But I don't know if it is to town's benefit to clarify that so I won't ask questions there. Seems like beyond the role discource their only content was some reads at the beginning which I think are pretty irrelevant by now, and not super notable. Pulsar is a null for me right now.

ImaginaryNeon - Neon is playing his classic town game that he's played in every game. But with that being said I'm asking myself "how would neon play as scum?" and truly I have no idea. So while I believe his role claim he's kind of still a null read to me, but if he turns out to be town my reaction is still going to be "aha yeah classic neon town game"

Laurel - I am usually very much of a "town posting any actual information without a reason is a negative" person, but I honestly think the massclaim pokemon thing was innocent. My pokemon has absolutely 0 to do with my role, I honestly don't even have any idea why my pokemon is what it is lol. So I'm kind of thinking Laurel is in the same boat where his pokemon doesn't relate to his role and was just trolling about the claims at the beginning. His only other content is misunderstanding what I had said about Neon ages ago, but this seems like a usual Laurel day 1 so idt there's a read that can be made here.

a fairy - fairy is making small talk as usual, which by now I have seen her do as scum and town so I don't think there's any AI there. Side effect of thate is that it is very hard to ISO her. Overall I think she has been very much telling it like it is to people this game and I don't think she has an ulterior agenda going on right now. So I am feeling a townread here.

saberslasher - Saber reads scummy to me in pretty much every post, looking back. I think he jumped on the easy train of scumreading genisu (which realistically, I feel like was more just not liking interacting with him in the thread rather than suspicion - and that doesn't just go for saber). And he has thrown out a few other random reads which as far as I can see he hasn't defended. Saber I think is my biggest scumread right now.

genisu - I'm struggling with this one. Instinctually I would say his posts read scummy, kind of similarly to saber's which I mentioned above. But I do think genisu's posts have had more genuineness (genuinity??) to them than saber's have had. I don't agree with most of genisu's takes or the way he has posted them, especially the random arguments that happened earlier in the thread lol, but I do think this is in line with how he would play as a townie. It does seem like he has cooled off a bit which could be evidence that his scumteam yelled at him to shut up but I think that is a stretch. I would say the slightest of townlean for genisu right now but I also think he's a somewhat decent vote if there's not a better option.

Alice - I like their first couple of content posts, I think their reads are definitely genuine. They weren't afraid to go against the grain a little bit with their questioning, which I feel like would not be something a new-to-mafia and first-time-scum player would do. This is a townread for me at the moment

Hydro - Most of his game posts boil down to "i think this person is town" or "i think this person might be scum" without much backup reasoning, which makes it hard for me to actually judge his motivations. At a glance reading his posts it feels like his reads have also jumped around a bit? So I give him a slight scumread for now.

StupidFlandrs - Last on my list because I think he was the most difficult to write about. I think he seems very aggressive and defensive at times. I will be honest he has a little too much content as I am ISOing and I am having trouble getting a full-picture read at the moment because I simply don't like reading his posts sometimes lol. I'm inclined to say slight scumread here for now but really I'm not sure on this slot

The rest of the people, I think are too complex to get a good read on at the moment. I don't think there's any reason the vote should end up on them right now:

i see, i parsed "1 of alice af have to be not scum" differently than you intended, i thought you meant "there is 1 scum btwn alice af"

laurel do you have anything else to say other than harping this joey scumread that you have an insane amount of conviction in for some unknown reason. i don't think it's impossible for him to be mafia by any means but your takes are so flat right now outside of that, it feels like you don't want to be here
