I think there's a difference in scumreading someone for a bad push on you, and omgus

but that's debatable, either way celever is kind of right and so is Marth

you are in the best situation to identify what is a good and bad push on you, but if you omgus vote everyone just for voting you thats obviously bad

Because if we’re both town and you spend 2 days trying to kill us then we basically just lose. Me vs Shane is far from the most important thing this game.

And as a result of that, there will almost never be follow-through on actually killing us both even if one of us (like me!) flips town, so you should be hardlining for whoever you think is scummier if you do really think it’s T/S

There are two ways to interpret this:
1. You're being straight, by which logic shane is probably still scum
2. You're saying this because you're scum that wants to keep a pocket

Duskfall98 Btw the mere notion of this being T/T is preposterous unless AF flips scum and even then it's not a sure thing

To try and get towncred mainly. The fact that the soft seemingly makes no sense to anyone else probably means that Laurel thought it would be a safe pocketing gambit if he is scum.

Also I guess because of your conclusion, which is that Laurel pushed Clouds to claim the BPV publicly and that links the two of them. If Laurel dies and flips maf then eyes fall on Clouds pretty hard.

It’s p wifomy as a whole I think but the reasons are there

I think it's certainly in laurels wheelhouse because he has definitely done a play for town so I can declare I'm mech town play as mafia before, it's literally why I started scumreading him D1 for the whole flavour claim thing, as mafia he catches something slightly towny to think he can lock clear then just runs with it full sprint, I was saying he does this type of thing before he does it

NOW, I have to actually work out which game I remember it from specifically

It could be T/T. I think Shane is scummy but not entirely because of the argument. A huge shouting match is genuinely likelier to be T/T than anything else historically so the fact that thread sentiment swung to it probably being T/S is genuinely notable, and in a vacuum implies it actually is T/T if anything.

If it were T/S then members of the scum team are incentivised to push the usual narrative that it’s probably T/T because it covers their teammate well.

Like I still think Shane is above rand scum but the other players are making me think it’s less likely lol

why is is impossible for it to be t/t? more often than not fights like this are t/t
 
sure its possible one of them can be mafia, but its by no means something to bet the game on, if you find one of them particularly scummy then go for it and case the individual but i think deciding one of two has to be mafia because they got in a disagreement is not a good path to follow

I have no experience to agree with that, I'm just judging based on what's in front of me. And I see someone who nearly got voted yesterday (Cel) trying to defend himself from a scummie who's clumsily trying to push him back into the hole for a vote today

thats fine, but why do you think one of them has to be mafia specifically is the core of this? like dont make any presumptions can you guide me through your full explanation (i know we did this yesterday) but i do think there has to be a logic leap somewhere there for you to decide this
