Voting celever was where my head was at at the start of the day, now my head is at like. af/laurel/hh. flanders is possible since he's kinda dropped off D2 but I do kinda want him to get in here and post stuff. Alice is ok but kinda a null lynch. hm.

right now my head is at "if all three wagons are town at EoD1 then some of the voteparkers are probably mafia" which would be alice/neon/laurel as the pool. The votes that I don't understand at EoD1 and whose play D2 I don't understand are af/hh
 
I'd probably like to flip one of genisu Alice or Shane today tbh

Shane was fine d1 but is posting while not bad hasn't had much substance at all, for an experienced player how he's played is like pretty easily fakeable
 
Alice, has had some really good moments for a new player but they do seem just overall unsure in thread of what they should be doing a lot of the time, actually nvm maybe that's towny idk tough one

she does seem super cautious though
 
I townread Shane off of his D1 yeah, I see what you mean though.

genisu is in a weird spot where I think his lack of self-awareness plus all the spats he gets into looks townie to me, then he does weird stuff like "Let me use all of my roles then clouds cop me pls"

I think Flanders was better first half of D2, if he just got busy for a short while thats not terrible I think it's not the whole phase he's been worse, I do think role spec is harder for newer players, which D2 has turned into (probably an argument to nor vote Alice also)

I think the demanding his role is town, is obviously wrong at minimum

it's worth noting that we probably have two joat-esque role

m2h has mentioned a lot about roleblockers, or talky roles but laurel is implied inventor which is really an alternative if joat right

idt it matters much for definite but just noting
 
I used to townread Shane but I actually think there's a lot of reasons to townread a lot of people, and Shane is just not giving much to justify keeping him up so in a game where honestly I think a lot have played well, Shane has kind of fallen a bit to the bottom of the readslist
 
if consider voting a fairy too, I think she's one of the hardest to read in the game though because she's good under pressure regardless so pressure itself isn't a good way to read her

she's been literally fake redchecked multiple times as town and she just gets voted over with little emotional reaction

this is a good attribute by the way in my book, she just plays to win but she does get reactive/atey at all really, but it does make her difficult to read on that basis then she just seems to have really good composure

idk if I remember an exact mafia game I'm ngl, but knowing her as a person and seeing how she treats the game I just feel like she has that composure regardless as a person, so how she reacts to pressure isnt very helpful
 
mmm ok. the reason I ask is Idt she has been consistent in terms of vote and scumreads or even the solve during this phase, which is why I scumread her, but I have no idea how much to put stock in that

I've not paid notice enough tbh, so I'm not helpful - I do think like in surface level, not meta level, she is a fine push though

this is one of the few reasons why i find you this game to be lacking credibility. this and the "oligarchy" theory you've been peddling is just so out there like what.

Some of this argumentation is irritating (I wasn’t the only player in both this game and last game, and others have commented in-thread on how different your play is between the two games, so no switching up your meta would just be to fool specifically me) but the post generally makes sense.

The theory I was operating under was that your safeclaim is scummy enough that you didn’t feel confident that it would flip all the votes off of you. Safeclaims are safe relative to the other roles in the game, and you couldn’t know how well that town claims also looked like safeclaims (your material to base that on were Neon and pulsar’s roles if Neon is town, which are a mixed bag in terms looking towny). You could have made a quick cost-benefit and said “if I claim my safe it’s prob not enough to keep me around so I’ll just YOLO vig and worst case scenario I get CCed and we can shoot the vig tonight”. Posts leading up to your claim even made it clear that they’d only be interested in jumping off your wagon if you had a really good role. It’s still a valid interpretation of events, even if your hypotheticals are also valid.

Being obtuse doesn’t really benefit anyone if you’re town, but does benefit self-pres which is scum-sided to prioritise, and the same goes for holstering on N1 with the position you were in.
 
All of that good solving is stuff I’m gonna need to take in when I’m more alive

I think M2H feels town based on those wallposts but don’t really remember her scum meta either
