  • Usually I save before picking up the egg, and if it has the right nature, gender and ability (if applicable) then I soft reset until I get something with good IVs, if that's what you mean. Some people just pick up a ton of eggs and hatch them though, since they don't have a quick hatch cheat. If you have an IV check code and a quick hatch code then go with the first option and just try for another egg if it has the wrong nature or gender or ability.

    No. I took an everstone and put it on the Squirtle. I then put a Power Belt on the ditto (to pass the Defense IV on) and went through A LOT of eggs :p

    To explain the Entei. I was messing around with an easier way of abusing the legends and wasn't sure what order they spawned in, so I was messing around with a frame of 1 and 6. And I did -6 from the desired frame, and it turned out to be Entei rather than Raikou, and so I caught the Entei with the same spread as the Raikou. I know it's useless, but it's unique in itself. Plus it's a twin :P
