  • Yeah, the problem here is that while now you're hitting even delays, RNG Reporter wants you to hit an odd delay. You might have to go back to the Shiny Egg finder and find a compatible spread for your year + delay.
Hmm wait a minute, I've been messing around in RNG Reporter to test this year thing. I changed the year in the Seed to Time function on the game, but the delay it wants me to hit changed by going down 1.
If you're going to switch DSes, check it first. It seems that different DSes can produce different odd/even delays. I have both a DS and a DS Lite, and one does even while the other does odd.
537 is odd, which means your game is only producing odd delays right now. To fix this, the easiest thing to do is put a 3rd gen game in your DS' GBA slot, or if there is one in there already, take it out. Now that you have a 3rd Gen game in/out, your game will start producing only even delays. If that's not an option, I believe that it can be changed by changing the year on your DS, but I'm not sure how that works since I use the GBA game method.
All right, that sounds like a good one to use. Take both of the parents, head to the daycare, and save right in front of the Daycare Lady. Next, we're going to do the exact same thing we did with Mew: try to land on the time and delay. For the seed you picked, you can right click on the seed and select "generate more times" to bring up the Seed to Time window. Pick a date and time, generate the spreads, try to land on it and verify it with Elm calls. When you hit your seed, talk to the Daycare Lady and put both parents in. Remember what order you put the parents in; this will be important later.
Next thing to do is click generate. If it comes back with nothing, your max is probably too low, or you could try changing the date or ID/SID to see if you can find something in that range.
Yes, it only gives you shiny spreads. So if you want a non shiny Pokémon, all you have to do is put an ID/SID that is not the same as the one you're hatching the egg on. Conversely, if you want to trade the egg to another game and have it hatch shiny there, you use the ID/SID of the game you're trading it to.
Oh right, I forgot that Syb's Ditto is Japanese. You will want to check the Internatial Parents box as well. Now, your ID and SID only matter if you want the egg to be shiny. Put them in if you'd like Dratini to come out shiny. The seconds box is what your second should be when we RNG. I prefer 50 like last time. The min/max delay box will only search for delay numbers in that range. Enter your calibrated delay in the min box, and enter the highest number you feel comfortable RNGing for in the max box.
If you don't like any of the options you're given, you can change the date or the ID/SID numbers to get different results.
Those two parents will do great, actually. First thing to do is open up RNG Reporter and click on Time Finder. Click on the Shiny Egg tab and check the date. It should be today's date, but if it isn't you can either change it or just use the date displayed there. For nature, select Quiet. Ability is for Pokémon with 2 abilities. If you're ever unsure about which ability is which, the Dex/IV Check option on RNG Reporter will list them. If you care about the gender, pick one. The gender ratio for Dratini is 50-50, so you can leave that alone. Since we don't care about Dratini being shiny, enter random numbers in the ID and SID box. Make sure the option that says HGSS Shiny Egg is ticked. Now, click on Generate, and it will make a list of dates, times, seeds, delays, and frames for your egg. On my computer, RNG Reporter freezes for a minute when doing this, so it might do the same to you. You want to pick an egg with the lowest frame possible, preferably 1.
