  • Hmm, well, you can click Create Timer to change it back to the original time. Another thing you can do is try fiddling with the wanted delay number, adding around 70 or so and see if that helps.
Good, that means we're getting closer. If you keep getting 561 or something around 561, put that number or the middle number in the other delay box and click update. I think your real calibrated second is probably 15.
Not bad, not bad! A result is better than no result. Now, what we were aiming for is 20:27:50 delay 639. Try it again and see if you get any closer. If the second is still off, you might want to try adding another second to the calibrated second. Once you start hitting 20:27:50, if you keep getting the wrong delay, put what you keep getting in the box on Pikatimer that says "other delay" and click the update button. It'll change the timing so you get a little closer. If you're landing in a certain range of numbers, try taking the middle number and entering that.
And I'm going to assume you have no roaming Pokémon about. The problem narrows down to probably the calibrated seconds or delay.
What happens is those 50 seconds are the time you use from starting the game to continuing the game. If you add the two times Pikatimer gave you, it'll equal 50. If the time is right, make sure Pikatimer has the right numbers. Is the number 50 in the "wanted second" box?
I'm not sure what's going on here. Hmm, okay, recheck the date and time, we might have to ask the RNG help thread to figure out what's up. :/
That makes things easier. I use AR and it messes up my delays for some reason. Okay, so where it says delays, expand it to -90 and +90. Where it says seconds, -3 and +3 should work. Let's try it one more time.

EDIT: Oh right, and remember to click generate on the bottom so that it regenerates the times and delays.
Did you figure out the delay and the second? If not, we can try resetting the time and trying again. Only thing we know for sure is we didn't hit the right delay. :c
Hmm, then it didn't appear in the range we set for RNG reporter. Try expanding the delays and seconds in the - + section and try searching again.
Perfect. Okay, on RNG Reporter, there should be an option that says Search Elm. Click on it, and it'll bring up a new screen with lots of Ks, Ps, and Es on it. What you need to do is call Elm 9 times. Each time you call him, he'll talk about Kanto, Pokérus, or Evolution. Each column of K E P is a call, so click on the letter of the subject he talks about for each of the calls. Then hit search Elm, and RNG Reporter will highlight which delay you hit. Hopefully, you got the right one. If not, tell me what you got.
Aw, dang, I forgot to ask. Have you shown Elm the Togepi he gave you and healed a Pokémon with Pokérus at a Pokémon Center?
...turns out I was dumb. Click on Create Timer first, and then reset the DS clock to the desired time and THEN hit start.
The one you want will be the exact time that was listed next to your birthday in the upper window, down to the minute/second. The next thing you should do is bring up Pikatimer and enter your calibrated delay (495), wanted delay (639), calibrated second (13) and wanted second (50, unless you chose a different second). After that, make sure you're saved next to the guy in green and turn off the DS. Now turn your DS back on and change the date to the one you picked. When you change the time, make sure you hit the start button on Pikatimer the same time you confirm the new time, which will start the first timer on Pikatimer. Restart the DS again and when Pikatimer hits zero, start up the game. The timer will restart with the second amount of time, and quickly get to the continue screen, but don't continue the game until Pikatimer hits zero for the second time. As quickly as you can, open up the Pokegear.
You probably have done enough by now, and use the number that appears most often. Looking at what you've given me so far, it's probably 495 or somewhere around it.
It looks like your seconds is going to be 13, though the delay is a bit more tricky. Keep going until you find something consistent.
Ah, shoot, I forgot. Tick the seconds function and enter 50 before generating everything. You don't have to use 50, but it's generally considered the easiest number.
Next thing you should do is head for Cerulean's mart, and save right next to the guy. After that, click Seed to Time on RNG Reporter, and it'll have the seed already inputted on it. Select the HGSS option and where it says delay, this is to account for any margin of error in delay. I usually use +30 and -30. For seconds, you can try +1 -1 or if you're confident, +0 -0. Now hit the generate button at the top, and it'll generate dates and times. Any of them are good. Pick one and click generate at the bottom, and it makes a list of seeds, times, delays, and Elm calls. Find your target, which should be a delay of 639 on the right second. That's the exact seed we need to hit.
Oh, then we can skip all that. :|a Anyway, Wondercard Pokémon are different from regular RNG Pokémon in that the nature will be random no matter what you do, so you'll probably end up having to RNG the IVs multiple times. If you have any roaming Pokémon, you probably want to kill them off since it makes RNG a little harder, and Cerulean City is probably the best place to pick up Mew because the wandering NPCs in other shops will potentially mess things up. On RNG Reporter, where it says method, select Wondercard IVs. In Seed (Hex), input this number: 52140289 and then click generate. It'll create a spreadsheet. If you go down to row 116, you'll see that it has 31 in every stat. That's what we want.
Next thing you need to do is calibrate, which is really boring and unfun, but you only have to do it one time ever ever. What this does is measure how fast you can get into the game, which is information we need for later. This video uses DPPt, but it has the same concepts, and should make a good visual aid. It has step by step instructions on how to do the calibration phase. For an area with high level Pokémon, I'm pretty sure that Mt. Silver is the only usable one in HGSS.
