    Hi we need to play for Team Tour, I'm GMT -7 and am kinda busy this weekend so it'd be cool if we could get this done during the week. I'm usually on from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM my time but I can make most times as long as it's not during school or absurdly early in the morning :]

    hey i was wondering why tricking was second seed and i am third seed
    i thought i would get second seed because i was second seed from start and i won all my battles, and thus by tricking or tfc losing a battle one of them would become 1st seed and the other would be 3rd

    the seed numbers are arbitrary. it's the easiest way to keep the right people in the right matchups. I wrote out the bracket myself in a more precise way but it turns out the simple way Pwne did gives exactly the same results (even if it looks like you got a weird seed)

    the most important thing is always just playing more, but for studying, I think the puzzles at shredderchess can be helpful and aren't too hard. if you want to like actually buy a book, How to Reassess Your Chess is a great one (if you're at a decent enough level to follow it)

    Yo, so coming 32nd-64th gets you 10 points in major, does that mean that, because it's 64 man, you automatically get 10 points? I'm pretty sure it's worked that way for all the others and I'm like 99% sure it does work that way, but just making sure, as it decides whether I'm already guaranteed invitationals or not, lol :]
