Edit: Btw, Safari abuse isn't really that hard. The only bad thing about it is encounter slots, you don't know what pokemon you'll encounter :P
RNGing your ID/SID is basically like any other G4 Capture/Breed, except you have to hit a higher delay. I'll walk you through it when you're ready :]
Nope, you don't need it, lol. Lots of people RNG on G4 without an AR (I think).
And sure! I'd love to help ;) But I've never RNGd on DPPt, so Idk if I can help you with that. HGSS is easier anyways. :P
The only bad thing about G4 RNG is hitting your Delay. Other than that it's super easy! And, it doesn't require AR at all. I only use an AR for EV/IV check, cloning, 100% Capture (If it's something like a Roamer or Safari Zone, or BCC), and other things that aren't necessary but super helpful. Like Max Money/Items, etc.
