  • It happens...and it could get frustrating. I remember while I was catching that Shaymin it took me 46 minutes to get the exact delay. Made me want to rage... =\
Oh, hm. Well, I haven't experienced with pikatimer, so I can't really say much about it. As for delays, I remember that for every second, a delay of 60 has passed. For some apparent reason, after 15 seconds on my Platinum, a delay of 650 has passed (690 on my R4). Days can be anything goes, on the other hand...but then again, the process depends on how the person does the RNG abusing.
I don't blame you - you're not the only one, and I'm sure there's plenty out there who are impatient. Delay is important, then the frames are the 2nd most important. If done right - perfection. And for pikatimer, I never actually used it - I figure things out differently. Even then, it still worked, since I have all my info and steps written down on notepad.
Well, it's better to do it at your own pace. You can't expect yourself to rush through it quickly - it involves determining how long you should wait, when to hit the spot, and perfect timing. There's more to it, but I might as well just mention the basic part. =\

I'd play B/W, but I'm not going to bother with it for the moment. Like many people, I might as well wait until the English release. I'm a patient guy, so yeah.
Yeah, I know. Greater rewards come to those who dedicate themselves to RNG'ing. It took me two days just to learn to RNG, and it was well worth it, and here's where I am today. :)
I see...it takes time, I know. And for the Shaymin, well, don't expect to find someone else with this spread. As far as I know, I'm the only one in Smogon to ever possess this shiny spread. I could use it for Articuno and Zapdos, but...
Hello hello! Let me know when you're available to trade the Shaymin, I'll be on pretty much all day. :]
Ok, giveaway's now over - the winners should be sending you a VM/PM anytime soon. This is way too competitive to achieve this Shaymin, too...
Thats ok. I havent traded it to anybody and will release it. Thanks for the heads up.
I need to add that you RNG your perfect roselia with the ditto first, making sure it's male. Then you get it leveled up to have the egg move. Then you use it to be the father of your chansey. Sorry I didn't make that clear earlier.
You don't need a good IVed roselia. You just need a perfect ditto for 3 of the perfect stats, and you get the remaining IVs from random inheritance, not the roselia. You only need the roselia to pass down the egg move. So the ditto passes 31, 31, 31 to the baby, and the game gives the remaining three IVs, whatever you want them to be. Just ask Time finder to generate the spread you want for the baby.
Ok, well don't adjust pikatimer if you're really close, not unless you see the same adjacent delay show up twice. Then you can adjust it by one in the direction of the adjacent. For example, you have a wanted of 642 but you hit 646 twice. You put 643 in other delay on Pikatimer so you only change the timer by one point.
Hey, how's it going with your RNG efforts? Are you getting adjacent delay results?
Well, to be honest with you, I'm the one who asked someone on this website to rng it for me because it was one of my rng projects.
Yeah, don't always update pikatimer every time though. Only do it if you're getting consistent results with another delay. Or if you're always way off, then adjust it down some.
