the old way that you are referring to is:
1. catch a pokemon in the wild and check its ivs (if you dont have an AR, then you have to catch lv. 50+)
2. plug in its ivs or stats into seed finder on RNG reporter, and hit generate
3. it will give you a second and delay. hit Okay at the bottom
4. on the main page, it should have a seed for you, and you should be on dppt egg pid (either international or normal). uncheck the shiny only box
5. hit generate. a list of natures will pop up.
6. find an option with the correct nature/gender/ability, and right click it.
7. select calculate poketech taps.
8. do as many taps as it says and then switch to the coin flip ap and do as many flips as it says.
9. go to the daycare and put you parents in
10. wait until an egg is available. save before you obtain it and check to see if its shiny

so you should save 1 poketech ap infront of the happiness checker ap. and in some grass where you can catch a lv. 50+ wild pokemon, with a sweet scenter

hey champloo, to breed a non shiny egg with the right nature and stuff, you do the rng reporter method for getting a shiny egg (you know, with the happiness app taps), and after you find your seed from catching a random pokemon, just make sure the shiny only box is unchecked. that will give you a list of a TON of different choices, and you can for sure find a nature/ability/gender combination that will work with few taps and coin flips. hope this helps

for me I started with only 7 or 8 but I did and RNG everyday and still do so it grows. But anything from around 6-20 is a good number. If you need a few extra I'll give some for free :)

i have the best shiny HP Grass spread in my game. I can do a CP if you want or i can find the PID/ Seed as well.

Since there is no frame earlier than one if you hit frame one you know that thats your save frame and that you got the egg before any NPC messed up the frame.

frame one is my favorite because you no there was no NPC problems :)

That's about right.

Compared to DPPt, breeding in HGSS is ten times easier, even though you don't get to tap for a shiny. You have to hit a seed twice, once for the egg nature and shininess, a second time for IVs, but doing this is so easy that you could get a shiny perfect pokemon in an hour or less, provided you don't have trouble with your delays. You don't have to calibrate for HGSS except the very first time you check to see what your usual delays and seconds are.
