Well, you take the flash card out of the device and plut it into a flash card reader. Take that to the computer, copy the game save file to the computer and then carefully removed the flash card reader from the computer so as not to wipe your memory and put it back in the device. You catch your poke, save the game, trade a copy of the pokemon to a retail card, save again, go back to the computer with the flash cart and save a copy of the file onto the computer as a backup, but you put in the older file onto the flash card to recatch the same pokemon (let's say Groudon) with a different ball. I caught two shiny Groudon's today, one in a timer ball because it almost struggled to death, one in a heal ball. I still have the older save file on the computer, with my player standing in front of Groudon, so I can do it again with either a different nature, spread or ball.
