my post was being sarcastic - i believe racism is definitely still prevalent in america. i know you are not a resident here, and the country generally likes to create a MO of "freedom and equality", but there is still a lot of anti-minority sentiments present.

I am British and the vast majority of us are not xenophobic. We voted to leave because we are fed up with politicians telling us what to do. Opposition to the EU has been growing steadily over the last 20 year and if the trend continued this was bound to happen sooner or later.
