question about the Nidoran(F) you bred. I always want to breed a shiny Nido, but I was always worried that I may get the other gender instead of the one I wanted. When I began breeding for my non-shiny Nidoran(F), I chose a breed spread that had F/F/F/F and I would get Nidoran(M)! I would have to search for one that would give me the correct gender. I found one when I decided to choose F/M/M/F.

When breeding for them as shinies, what circumstances should I put it under as? Fixed Gender or something else? Besides that, I breed them with a father parent instead of Ditto so then I can get the egg move counter. Would that affect it anyway? sorry and thanks.

I've been breeding for a while, but the nidos go against normal breeding guidelines, XD.
