I never "look" for them. Last time I found a shiny was last year, a shiny ditto while hatching eggs on HG. I think finding an action replay owner who is willing to check my secret ID by me trading him something will be easier.

Well, considering the fact that I have a 1 in 8,192 of finding one in the wild and a 1 in 1,365.3 chance of getting one if I breed a foreign pokemon with one of my own (Mesuda method I believe), my odds aren't great.
I am pretty close to figuring it out (I looked into it after you told me about it). I just need to find my secret ID, which is quite difficult believe it or not. As far as I know I either need an AR (which I have but doesn't work on B/W and is unupdatable) or a shiny pokemon that I have caught myself (which I don't have).

Ah. I find Battle Subway Wifi to be quite intense becuase once you get past eight, one loss means a demotion, and a good deal of success depends on luck. And you get a fine sense of achievement once you hit rank 10. The problem now is, I was using my rotom for both Battle Subway and random matchup, but since I have a new fire type (blaziken) in my team, I need to change him to wash rotom and change his moveset, which would completely screw up my battle subway team. Also, do you think shiny or normal ferrothorn looks better? I think I may try to rng one.
Haven't quite started yet, I think I'll train the female you gave me and see how night slash does on a set that I have in mind. I'll attempt breeding after I know which egg moves I want (if any). Do you do any Battle Subway Wifi? If you get to rank 10 in the first five rooms, you have a good chance of battling me.
