Just mess with the delay in the timer is what I usually. Change the wanted delay more or less depending on what delay you keep hitting.

Okay, so what you need to do is. Get some parents obviously, save in front of the daycare lady.

Go to RNG reporter, input the things you want the egg to come out as. Try to keep the frame on an odd numbered frame.

After you find a suitable egg spread choose the egg IVs tab. This one should be pretty easy to figure out for the most part. For min frames set 10, max can be however many times you feel like calling Elm (20 should be enough though). Now, for which parent is which depends on the order you put them in the daycare. First parent in is A, second parent is B. Once you get a suitable IV spread save in front of the day-care lady with the parents still in your party (this is important). I'll continue on the next post.

Alright if that version works that's good. And you have the parents you need as Everstone use wasn't looked into for 4th gen. I'll explain the delay part at the end because it's the hard part

Now then, open the Time Finder option and choose the Shiny Egg tab (I'm not sure when the options were changed but it shouldn't be too hard to find). Enter your ID/SID in the spots for it obviously and check the box for HG/SS shiny egg if you're on HG/SS (I've never actually done egg RNG on DPPt so if you don't have HG/SS I can't really help you :x) Set Nature to Adamant, gender it's up to you and for Ability you want 1 (Technician is ability 1 for Scyther, 0 is Swarm). For delay you'll want about 550-800. Enter whatever date/month you want, then run the search. When you get results, the frame is what egg it will be. So frame 1 means the first egg will be the parameters you set, frame 4 means it will be the 4th egg. Note that for RNGing shiny eggs is the only time frames means # of eggs generated

So by egg then? If you're going for shiny eggs the latest RNG reporter doesn't work for it. You'll have to use an older version (I use 8.31 myself, you can find a link in the 4th gen RNG thread IIRC). What do you have for parents IV-wise?

Well to start you've checked out the other RNG thread (not the 5th gen one) right? And the main Smogon site has more info here: http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/
The thread has more stuff for HG/SS though. Also, check out the youtube videos about RNG by Bearsfan092. The 4th gen videos were made before EonTimer was around though but you want to use that over PikaTimer or ZomgTimer if you're using Windows (else use ZomgTimer). If there's anything that you can't figure out from there just ask.

You're going to need to find someone, or somewhere that has 9.75 or earlier. As 4th gen eggs are currently broken on the latest RNG reporter. Once you find that, I'll teach you :)

Well it doesn't have the same OT Name and ID so you can't rename it. I suppose if you RNG'd your ID/SID to match it it would be possible but idk. Maybe that's why B/W events have a SID of 0?
