    musicmeister mentioned you can't trade in the union room because of a black screen problem. Try running one of your back up save files with the opposite ROM. If it's Black, run it with White. See if that fixes your union room problem.

    Edit: If it's Black ROM giving you trouble, change the sav to getting run by White and see if that fixes it.

    Yes, but it'll take me several minutes. I have to trade the pokemon over to my ROM file. Then copy file to computer, then trade back to my retail game to get a copy back onto it to trade back to you.
