  • This is how you should have done it: if your egg frame is 8, you call Joey 3 times, which brings you to frame 6. Then you reject one egg (frame 7) and you take the next (frame 8).

    Because you did it the other way, you've opened up the possibility of incoming phone calls advancing your egg frames. If you rejected only two eggs, you should call Joey twice to get to frame 6, reject frame 7 egg, take frame 8. However, if you did get phone calls, you may have missed your frame already.
    Hi again. I don't have time to answer all your questions last time because I was in a rush, but all nature and ability work for eggs is done on the shiny finder tab of time finder.
    For HGSS, you have to take your egg seed by right clicking your choice, then close time finder, then put your seed into the main window and pick breeding (international or not). Then you hit generate. And you'll see your frame list. Then you go to seed to time, put your seed in if it isn't already there and do all the work to generate your adjacents. Make sure you chooose HGSS. It's in my guide.

    Some people have tried not filling in the SID and have had fails. I don't know why. I have a small guide inside my shiny egg section that discusses how to get a non-shiny egg. You can check that out. That method works for me.

Say, I'm trying to get the non-shiny squirtle, would I skip that entire guide about trying to get a shiny hatched poke, or would I still have to do that, just not fill out the SID?
    No, it's about the same amount of time on HGSS. Make sure you get the right gender ratio in Time Finder, since it's not 50/50 for squirtle.
    Yes, indeed, you can use that on non-shiny eggs. :-) I've done it many times. What are you breeding?

    How accurate do you think you are with Pikatimer? Sometimes you just get weird results, even if it's not possible. It happens to me on occasion.

    Put 99 in the delay boxes, and 5 in the seconds boxes. Click Generate again and find your delay. It will be exactly in the middle. Then set up PikaTimer and go for it.

    You don't need to. You can pick literally any of the dates/times that show up in the top window. I usually pick the one closest to the actual date. Then click Generate again.
    but then if I click generate, I can't find the same delay/date and time thingy as I did on the Time Finder window.
    Okay so I put in 14, and click generate after filling in the other info. I find my seed, witha delay of 794, right-click it, and click "generate More times". It now goes to the other window. And now there is another seconds box in the first row, what do I put in there?

    You aren't bugging me, believe me, I like helping people learn how to RNG. I don't like it when people have trade threads full of other peoples' stuff. So yeah, that box is for your calibrated seconds, so 14.

    I happen to know exactly what your problem is!
    Your Wanted seconds should be the same as the Seconds you put in the box in RNG Reporter's Seed to Time. Change the Seconds in RNG Reporter to 50 and generate the possible times again.
