Yeah I'm reading this guide http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60653 and it doesn't seems difficult, just a bit boring :)
I've nothing to do this evening after dinner so i think i can finish EV training it in about 3 Hours.
I'll keep a copy of the UT Eevee just to restart EV Train if i mess up the EV Spread but i'll delete it after i've finished so No Problem, just let me know moveset and spread you want :)

Heh, I've never tried that except with just for fun battles with my sister. But really ou is just way to overrated. Even in uu and especially in Nu, you can at least have a radically different team then someone else, but in ou, it seems as if every other person has a gengar, a gyarados and a ttar or mence.

But something I wanted to ask you, where do you get your lc sets?

i can take a slight moral high road and try not to use any myself, but i don't worry myself too much about background checking everything i trade for on this forum.

i'm going to west virginia 23rd-1st though, so WiFi may or may not want to behave with my DS, but i'll have some free time i can get it done while i'm there.

Haha yeah well it's a lot different then the normal tiers, so I find that more exciting then say ou, which imo is really bland, considering the amount of scarftars, or mences, and so on.

and cloning i was very against to begin with. i also had no sense of "ownership" when i first started playing on WiFi. if someone traded me a pokemon, it was mine. if i traded a pokemon to someone, it was theirs. there was no other copy or anything.

smogon and other WiFi sites have socialised me to even think about branding one's own breeds, the general acceptableness of cloning because of how needed it is for WiFi.



i wonder if (or when) a WiFi LC tournament is done, if glitches will be accepted or not ;/

oh i mean just the little cup gym on PBR. i wouldn't use a glitched pokemon against anyone that didn't specifically allow for me to do so beforehand. and even then it'd be a bit rare. like a battle that was just for fun.

WiFi on PBR is annoying lol. though i do have a pretty decent record.


i just know the more and more i'm around a glitch or whatever, the more i end up begrudgingly accepting it as everyone else is perfectly willing and able to do so.

save states and (and in general, using ROMs for RNG abuses), the level edit code (like syberia's lv. 100 celebi from WiFi he edited to lv. 50 so it could be retrained) all sort of rubbed me the wrong way. now i just accept that they're generally accepted. it's a lot harder to say "i won't battle anyone who got a pokemon obtained through save states" than "no battling glitched pokemon" though.

what about cloning though?

and i don't plan to use this (if i even get it) except for PBR really.
and actually, part of the reason i don't want to participate in LC on shoddy is how glitches are 100% accepted there and how it's just as easy to get a staryu with hydro pump as it is with surf when on WiFi that's certainly not the case.

although i will say, i am more with you on the topic of glitches (like the pomeg glitch). but everyone seems to be totally fine with it, so there's not much i can do. kind of just adapting to the general consensus.

i don't get to battle much though anyway (let alone LC battle), so it's really just to HAVE it, not really to be able to use it.
