The only reason for it to be female is to avoid "charm" effects, so it's no real loss, as no one seriously plays those effects.
However, I'm now on a "0 attack IV" kick for special attackers - it reduces the amount of confusion damage, and you never use the normal attack.
Keep up the breeding. Remember that Zoroak is going to define the OU tier next year. I don't think he's too powerful for OU, but I strongly suspect that he'll be on a good 50% of the teams just because hitting Zoroak with an attack that he resists is as good as game over.
With the increased amount of entry hazard removal, I strongly suspect that you could even do a double-Zoroak bluff (Zoroak in, bluffing 6th poke, kill the counter to 6th poke, bring out 6th poke, kill some things, explosion it, then Zoroak - I think - appears as the 5th poke, allowing you to double-bluff.)
