  • Yeah I'm replaying Plat now. :) My last file didnt have HP Grass as a shiny spread when I thought it did. :(
    Btw Headbutt pokes have a set encounter slot. So you will keep getting that poke on that frame. We just dont know the slots. :/
    Its the same ID/SID for both of them. Just search it in RNG Reporter with the OPEN Box checked in the seed finder. Any delay will work. :)

    I'm not sure. I don't really know how to figure out encounter slots and shit, but there's some info on it in the sixth post on the RNG thread. I think it only goes from 0-4 though like surfing.

    Edit: Yeah, not sure if it has encounter slots or if it's just random. Maybe I can test it out sometime...
    Lol, I bet. So did you figure out if that's what really corrupted your game, using save states in the National Park? I highly doubt I'll even try it if I can't use save states... >_>
    No problem. :) Same way you check for a shiny spread. Put the seed in RNG Reporter under Method K, right click the frames, and click "Calculate Encounter Slots."
    Yep, I can do that for you. I can check for you, but just so you know, you can check yourself too. :P The encounter slots a spread has as a non shiny spread and the encounter slots it has as a shiny spread are always the same.

    Oh, I have three other abuses this weekend to do for some people, so I'll get to it right after those.

    Yes. 231305D7 Method K with sync. Low Delay(At least to what I'm used to) Low Frame. 8D161107 is the one with the extra encounter slot.
    Search for the seed >.< The spread is shiny even if it has different PID's as long as the nature and IV's are the same.
    Yeah, what I do now since I've had so many problems is right after I catch them, I save my game twice (you have to do that when you're using save states or it will corrupt your save), plug my SD card into my computer, and save a copy of the .pkm. Then I load up my game, load up the save state of me battling that pokemon, catch it in a different ball, and repeat until I'm done. :P Yeah, that will happen when you add/take stuff off of your SD card. Adding stuff slows down your delay and taking stuff off speeds it up.
    That really sucks. That happened to my HP Fighting spread in Platinum, but I lost the whole save. :( At least I got to keep three pokemon though... Do you need me to resend you the save?
