You can change the OT name on pokésav and the pokémon is still legitimate, but you cannot change the ID/SID of a game using pokésav, that is considered hacking. If this friend is trading over the WiFi forums I suggest you make them stop and offer full refunds for any trades they have made, as they can get permanently blacklisted for that.
If you want you can get someone to use pokesav the OT to something else, I don't mind.
Thanks ;) The only reason we have that thread is because we like to RNG, but don't know what we want to RNG most of the time. We decided to make other people solve our problem for us.
Don't worry about it ;) enjoy your Staryu and remember only you and I have redis rights, nobody else does.

And I use ROM's for abusing ID/SID's and the pokés on my thread, but I trade them over to my cartridge for distribution. -
