Aegislash is overcentralizing, I don't think there is any doubt about that. But I don't think that is a reason for a ban. The meta revolves around it, so what? A lot of things check it, it's not that hard to beat, it doesn't win entire matches just by being on a team.

Interesting fact about Diancie: it resists both Dragon and Fire, so it can be a counter to any Charizard X lacking EQ.

One word: Skarmory. It's the entire reason Pinsir wants to use CC over EQ. Heatran makes no difference because it's weak to both. The only flying resist that is weak to EQ but not CC is Aegislash.
