    OK, I have not fully confirmed this, but here is what I can gather has happened from my questioning. It was both hatched and received on an emulator, and so instead of physically trading it from one copy to the other, the *.pkm file was just taken from one game, and put onto the other. In short, it is an unconventional hack. Please accept my apologies, along with 5 credits in my thread.

    I will happily give you the 4 credits, but I can explain the method used to RNG for it. Manaphy from pokemon ranger comes as an egg, but the PID is created so that it cannot hatch shiny on your game. HOWEVER If you trade that egg to another game (now that the PID has been created) on which it will hatch shiny, it CAN hatch shiny.
