That's right so far, yup. You probably don't want to check off DW unless you're going for a DW Ability, not that I think it'll mess anything up, but just in case.

At this point, you'll want to double-click your spread, change it to 'Eggs', then check off Everstone, IV Frame: 8, Ditto, and fill in the parent IVs. I'd change the PID Frame to 40 - 100, then hit Generate. And now, it's exactly like regular RNG with finding the starting frame and that jazz.

Yeah, with good parents it should be fairly easy. You've done PID abuse before, and that's pretty much what breeding is all about, so that's even better.

How about breeding something with a DW Ability? First, I'd try for flawless stats then to try shininess.

I don't think there's any guides for breeding specifically with PPRNG, but you might try Tesseraction's guide. The only thing different is finding spreads.
Personally, I didn't like the guide much because it made everything so lengthy, but hey.

Did you check out the post in the help thread about it? The third one, I think.

Nope, not a swarm. They're in Giant Chasm. If you're going for Metang, you'll need to clear the fog, though, so you can use Sweet Scent.

How about... a shiny Metang, or if you want to try out shaking grass, a Metagross? It's always awesome to see one of those in something not a Pokeball. They're in an area with no NPCs, too.

Congrats with Cubchoo, I accidently killed my shiny Virizion one time with a critical Chatter from Chatot (they're actually very good in helping catch stuff, thanks to Sing).

Yeah, you may be able to switch spreads to get it, but knowing NPCs, you're better off breeding one. I've had to give up one some projects (like shiny Sigilyph from Desert Resort :/) because of that exact problem with not being able to hit dead on. Hit everything around it, just not the frame I needed.

If that ever happens again, though, make sure you're mashing to get into the menu. Your starting frame should, at the very least, be somewhat consistent (since NPCs will move the same way as you enter the game), but it sounds like there was a pretty huge gap between your two starting frames.

Sounds like a tricky situation. Do you know what frame you're hitting with that Foongus after 46 Chatters?

The weird thing is that you said you started on 50, so with 45 you should at least be at 95, but instead you hit one before that. o_o Are you sure 50 is your starting frame?
Something kind of like this happened to me the other day with breeding, I ended up having to actually wait a second or two before I picked up the egg. Maybe try waiting before using Sweet Scent to see what you hit? NPCs really know how to screw things up.
