Yeah. OMG I think i got the most amazing ID/SID combination today. but I still have to check with Wichu to see if it actually will make the spreads i want shiny :P
Ok well I read Bozo's guide, and it seems the only way to do it is to create a crapload of save states, each with a different ID/SID combination, the check the egg's PID against all of them. If one with make it shiny, you hatch it on that game. It sounds so time consuming >_>
Your answer is correct :P People have answered it before, but none of them read the rules... so they don't get it. By the way, do you know how to get shiny eggs on Emerald? I have been looking EVERYWHERE >_>

Varment, does it have Encore???? I'm praying that it does, hopefully Clefairy learns Encore in Emerald as well. The reason why I wanted it in Clefairy form was so that I could teach it Encore...Clefable can't learn it, sadly.
