I'm still not completely sold on the banning of 3rd Gen RAM hacks I'm afraid, though. Users had been obtaining stuff identical without it and despite using emulators were respected. The only difference with changing a seed here and there is saving a lot of time spent abusing the system another way (speedup,) at least in my view. I consider it similar to using 100% catch rate codes. Just interested in what you have to say in response.

If you're going to ban the trading of XD Pokémon on the grounds that RAM hacking was using, you should crack down on all RAM hacked Pokémon as there are a number of people using said method to obtain Gen III Pokémon quickly, and it's a bit annoying to be honest.

Was the new thread created because of Hozo's GA?

It would be nice if you mods could be consistent. I had asked Expert Evan regarding RAM hacked pokemon over a month ago and he said it was fine as long as the method used to obtain it was disclosed (unfortunately I have deleted that PM recently). If my XD stuff cannot be traded than any other 3rd gen RAM hacked pokemon should not be allowed either.

Edit: If it is your intention to ban all RAM hacked pokemon I would suggest making that more clear in your new sticky. Right now I can't exactly figure out what you're trying to say there and I'm willing to bet that I'm not alone. Do you mean to block only XD and Col RAM hacks or all RAM hacks in general? I think it would be an inconsistent rule if only XD and Col RAM hacks are not allowed while other ones are. Inconsistent rules are unfair ones IMO. I believe that RAM hacked pokemon should have had a blanket ban ever since it first came to light over a month ago.
