I though it was some mechanic I've never visited but now I realized it is a bug that seems to have not been fixed yet: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/battle-gen1ou-2320707510-c7n9uf9807a03bms40f1sfhkln70897pw (Turn 24 onwards). When a pokemon is frozen following hyper beam it is trapped during the 'recharge' stage and can't switch out (turn 12, Kabutops uses H Beam and is unable to switch): https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen1ou-1495885711-wg4z2qgljyzrtzqsox4pnit4bi2vy8ppw
Not a bug, this is how RBY worksI though it was some mechanic I've never visited but now I realized it is a bug that seems to have not been fixed yet: https://play.pokemonshowdown.com/battle-gen1ou-2320707510-c7n9uf9807a03bms40f1sfhkln70897pw (Turn 24 onwards).
Mon frozen following HB gets permatrapped into recharge status and unable to switch out, this is the screenshot my opponent provided: https://ibb.co/kWKw6LH
Its not. Its actually a mechanic. Hope this helps!but now I realized it is a bug
Wow... That's really unfort. Quite funny I never knew of it.Not a bug nor what was reported in the other post, this is how RBY works
It does, thanks for the feedback! Its not. Its actually a mechanic. Hope this helps!
I'm not 100% sure what the behaviour on cart is (i believe sleep/freeze should NOT cause a counter failure) but the fact that it had inconsistent results (works once, not again after) means it's wrong regardless. Now that the "Fight" button has been implemented, I think it should be used when you are frozen or sleeping.
its consistent and should be fixed yesedit2: i have seen this occur many more times. it seems that the first hit of wrap always hits the sub, and every subsequent hit ignores it
thank you for your input cakeWhere is this relevant enough to warrant spmeone going through the effort of patching it.
https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen1ou-2408905667-skh7gio42c7bdtfx29plm7mcvo7inyqpwPretty sure the first hit of Wrap should be the only one where accuracy is checked
had this happen in a recent set and this checks out i think, i tried cancelling or some other weird button sequence and then the miss happenedhttps://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen1ou-2408905667-skh7gio42c7bdtfx29plm7mcvo7inyqpw
same behaviour turn 17-18

i think it may do an accuracy check if you click something other than fight button (or the trapping move?)
weird seems 100% accurate to me but could be luckI've since had this happen even when I clicked Fight, so I don't think it's dependent on what move is clicked
