Hello, everyone! Welcome to the first iteration of Other Metagames Mashups Premier League. This tournament will have 6 teams, each with their own manager and assistant manager. Managers will do a SPL-style auction on Pokemon Showdown!, where they will take turns nominating and bidding in an auction for players who signed up to assemble their teams with limited credits available. The teams will then play one another for 5 weeks, with a new opponent each week. This will culminate with a Playoffs week consisting of the Top 4 teams overall from the 5-week main season. This puts the estimated end of the tournament in late-May, so make sure you can be active until then if you wish to participate!

- This tournament will be hosted by qtfox and Murphy Lawden.
- Team managers may elect (and are recommended) to have a co-manager.
- Teams must have a minimum of 8 players (6 starters and 2 substitutes).
- Each team has a 90,000 credits budget.
- BOTH Managers may self-purchase prior to the auction, for 12,500 credits each.

We shall start by selecting the team managers, which have important responsibilities such as drafting a team, submitting weekly lineups, and making sure their players are prepared and scheduling games. As mentioned above, managers are recommended to have a co-manager; you may decide on a co-manager after you have signed up, or if you cannot find a co-manager before the auction begins, you may select one from from the pool of players you draft. The manager selection process is mostly subjective. The hosts alongside the rest of the moderation team will select the managers we feel are most strongly suited for the tournament. No joke signups or unrelated posts. Your post will be deleted if you do not meet these requirements. Only post in this thread if you are serious about managing, and do so in the following format:

Well, I've already managed UMFL, I'm currently managing MOMPL (we're in the playoffs), and in addition, I played in the Mix And Mega Premier League (which includes MnM LC) and my team won the tournament. With the help of my co-manager, I'm sure I can put together a great team for the tournament in both tiers. My co-manager (Nasir) has also managed UMFL, which took his team to the playoffs, managed NFEOL, and managed PTSL I, which won the tournament with an excellent campaign. Currently, he's managing UMCL and GSCUUPL. Furthermore, he's managed several World Cups for Portugal, such as WCOR, LTWC, and UWC, and is currently managing Europe + Africa in RBYWC.

Why would you make a good manager?
> THR - I have won Euphonos Legacy League as manager and the most recent Tours Plaza Premier as a player, I was a manager in the most recent HGPL and a player in the prior iteration, all of these being OMM-related tours to some extent. I literally created Camove, I hold the position of council for multiple OMMs, and im also the best of all time like come onnnnn whattt

Your accomplishments: We both made it to semis tiebreaker in OMCL and I’ve made it to semis and finals across multiple tours as a manager.
Why would you make a good manager?: I’m very invested in OMs and can easily pick up tiers as needed, as well as already having some knowledge of the listed tiers.

Why would you make a good manager?: we are active and can learn new tiers as needed. also we are decently knowledgable about the community and i have prior managing experience with 2 editions of hackmons premier league and shadowing istt until they banned me from the teamcord for losing 1 match

Your accomplishments: Crisis has hosted several tournaments in the past, including OMM Trios and various individual metagame tournaments. Crisis and BBP are both OM Mashups project leaders and are on the councils for several of the featured metagames. BBP forgot to respond to my discord message so he gets to say all of his other accomplishments later in his own post.
Why would you make a good manager?: I have managed several teams over the years in TPP (the Gotham Golbats are a legacy team!) and am very bossy.

Haru: I'm LC OMs.
Lightniong: Managed OMCL, managed and made finals of MnMPL, is an active and good face in the OM Community.
Why would you make a good manager?: I care more about LC OMs than anyone else on the planet and Lightniong is an experienced manager.

Your accomplishments: Clas has a ton of solo tour wins and 3 tour wins and is a OMM Project Leader. I'm a former OMM Project Leader and was the captain of the US East team when we won OMWC V. I also managed a TPP team. Additionally, I've played in a couple other team tours and have done well in solo tours

Why would you make a good manager?: We both are super passionate about OMMs and are well know in the community. We have been council on tons of different OMMs and we're just both super awesome.
