  • Hi - we're paired for ADV OU Smackdown Round 2. I'm on GMT 0. What times are practical for you? For me it's earlier rather than later as I have exams coming in 2 weeks time.
Ouch. Um...I think we'll have to play your time between 9am-3pm. I'm still available for those times for the next four days or so, and some after that, so let me know what days you could play. Cya soon :)
Hey, I'm on Australian time (GMT-8). I can play from this Wednesday to Sunday, roughly 10am-8pm (yeah I know I'm specific lol, I'm trying to work around uni and stuff). Let me know what timezone you're in and we'll sort something out.
I updated our OP with the outline I propose. What do you think? If we are in agreement, you can start choosing which part you want to write up on.
Nah, keep that part. What I wanted to avoid was an in-depth explanation of the individual Volt-Turners. Just general characterizations of these Pokemon are what we should be aiming for.
Hmm, I don't want Volt-Turn explanation to take up too much space, since the article is about BEATING the strategy, not describing the strategy. I think a short overview would suffice for the Volt-Turn intro. One thing we can do is divide the Pokemon into Volt Switch absorbers and U-turn absorbers.
Sorry, Go10 - I am busy with life... I am planning on working on it next weekend.

Do you have any plan for the structure of the article? The intro to volt-turn tactic is a given. Organizing the "how to beat volt-turn" is more difficult. We can simply list stuff one-by-one, but it would be cool if we can categorize these items in some way. Any suggestions here is greatly appreciated! Let's finalize this skeleton and assign which part we will write, so you can start writing your thing and I can start writing mine next weekend.
No, I never received anything O.o
Yeah, I can make that. I am also more free today and tomorrow than usual as I am now on break ~ if there's a time that works better I can likely make it.
Yes, any extra input in dealing with Volt-Turn strategy is much appreciated! If you are up for the task, we can co-author this article. I have presented some rough ideas on the OP, but please add your own ideas on that thread. Also any input on the organization of the article is cool, too. We will divide the work after we form a rough blueprint of the article. Thanks, Go10!
