I am soon doing some 3rd Gen Retail captures, and I would like to know what mon(s) do you use when capturing, because you seem to get everything in the ball you want it :d
XD Zapdos is *technically* not an event pokémon and it can be renamed in the original game (it's a shame the guy deleted his save). It's understandable for things like the Crown Beasts and the Quiet Heatran from Ranger 3, though.
Does the region of the DP cart matter? you said it like it doesn't matter whether it's Japanese or not. Also, if you feel this kind of advice isn't kosher, there's always PMs! XD
BTW, if an external device isn't used to change the nickname, why is it bad to not want to alter the trash bytes if I've got the permission from the original owner?
Is there a way I can find out what Frame/seed I got after pressing A to encounter it?
Now that I'm in front of Deoxys, exactly how would I go about RNGing this thing? All I really know is you gotta let the game run to reach your frame. Am I supposed to use the Researcher Tool again?

Ok, so I made a save state at Birch's last line before entering into the game. The TID I got is 40113 and the PID I want is 6463b3ad. I went on Pandora's Box, entered the PID and for Desired TID entered 40113. Am I supposed to make an Infinite Search until it finds something?
"Take the current PRNG value at that save state"
How do I do this?
