they can be kind of anal, the leader of the actual class especially (Dr. Newstetter, or at least she *was* the leader)

really it's a bunch of professors that are doing research and have to teach a class in order to stay at the university, so you get a bunch of students who don't want to be there presenting to a bunch of doctorates that really don't want to be there xD

our first one was so hilariously bad I cringe thinking back on it. always great starting off on the right foot though!

if you didn't present, question 2 is usually a 2 parter where you create an experiment and then show your results, and I highly recommend volunteering for the presentation where you present the experiment to the class (before you actually do it) as it is incredibly easy and they can't ask you any hard questions for it.
