Ok then, so how much experience would you say you have in OU? Would you consider yourself knowledgeable?
You can use whatever pokes you want as long as they are OU or lower tier, but you might not want to use all counters
The rules are I only need 3 normal pokes as a gym leader

Not at all, sorry. Monotype isn't an official metagame (and as an Other Metagame it doesn't exactly get much love either), so you'd be hard pressed to get monotype help here.
