    No problem. I was confused about that, as well a few months back during Dark Chaos' Easter Egg giveaway (I don't remember exactly what it was called).

    I pick an egg, and it appeared to hatch shiny (it was an Exeggcute), but when I looked in my party, it wasn't. That's when I ;learned about why it can appear shiny as it hatches, without actually being shiny.

    The way it usually works is according to the trainers SID (secret ID). taintedshampoo RNGd the Bronzor, cloned the egg, then hatched one of the eggs on their cart.

    I was then sent the egg (and the shiny version), and the egg, when hatched, appears to hatch shiny, and will be seen as a shiny sprite on the hatch screen, however, it was NOT really be shiny. When I go to my Pokemon party, it is actually non-shiny (because my SID is not the same as taintedshampoo's).

    Unless by some miracle your SID is the same on both of your carts (it is possible, but HIGHLY unlikely), it will stay shiny.

    You did look at your poke in your party AFTER it hatched, right?

    yes i just had the exact problem, someone had to tell me the real owner of a redis poke cos the person i traded it from got it wrong :x. Once my thread is more established i'll remove all redis pokes that arent mine and save the hassle :)

    Yeah, I always got this error at the end when you're the host. I've turned off my firewall, I've even disabled the SPI of my router.
    Maybe the only solution will be you passing the Chansey to someone with good connection then we will trade with the guy you passed the Chansey too.
    I just did something, maybe we can test it if we can be able to trade now.
