    The other day on ladder I switched in a mon to fully sack it to hazards hoping that the opposing medicham's HJK would inflict crash damage. I switched the mon in and it died, but the message that came up when he HJK'd was "but it failed!" (no crash damage occurred)

    Is it supposed to be like that? Cause explosion can still set off even if a mon was switched in to get sacked to hazards.

    Yes, no target Jump Kicks aren't considered misses. In Gen 4, no target Explosion also failed instead of knocking the user out.

    Hi Marty I recently tested psychic terrain interactions with custap berry + quick claw and just wanted to double check if these conclusions were cartridge consistent:

    1: quick claw enhanced attacks can still hit grounded targets protected by psychic terrain
    2: custap berry enhanced attacks can also still hit grounded foes in psy-terrain

    Custap Berry and Quick Claw don't grant priority, so yes those are intended interactions.

    Your pronunciation for your name "Radiantler" doesn't match your IPA transcription of it. It looks like you want it to be pronounced /reɪdiæntlər/. The symbols you used for long vowel sounds are the same as the short vowels but are literally longer, as in they are pronounced for a longer duration of time

    hello friend.
    I was wondering something: using in game trades in virtual consoles and old gens, you can actually get pokemon at a lower level than you can currently get. Ex: catching a lev 3 pikachu in red and blue, evolving it and trading it in cinnabar can score you a level 3 electrode. But currently on ps it says it's impossibile to use one in a team before level 30 (evolution).

    It would take an unreasonable amount of time to figure out every underleveled possibility, the move/Ability/Ball legalities associated with them, etc, and then create a system that works with the current validator, all for basically no benefit at all. If someone else wants to deal with it then be my guest, but I don't know anyone who has the time or knowledge to do it.

    Marty the front sprite of vileplume does not match the feminine and in the shinies there is a concussion too. I hope you can solve this error

    Hey, do you know if foul play stacks with metronome or not?

    I've never specifically tested Metronome Foul Play, but I don't see why it wouldn't. Foul Play uses your own item to calculate damage, not the target's.
