    Is there any consideration for re-suspecting Tera, or creating a separate non Tera OU ladder (Like what scald). I personally very much don’t enjoy Tera, and would like to have the opportunity to play without it outside limited games.

    The scald ladder and other splinter ladders have all been pretty big failures. Splintering a playerbase creates confusion and limits the sample on both ends

    In general, this is a convention virtually everyone in tiering capacity has wanted to avoid ever since the last one and making the same mistake would not be good.

    Okay, I could see the benefits as Tera is compared to scald such a fundamental game changer, and I think trying a split ladder, if just for perhaps a limited time could be worth considering, I see why you wouldn’t want to

    What set makes kyruem potentially up for discussion? Could it be specs or dragon dance with aurora veil?

    Specs is very, very strong and Dragon Dance (even without the same array of tools it previously had) can still be very polarizing. Switchins are just limited and it is not always easy to pin down the set. Also, some scary good defensive Tera applications

    What would be your opinion on Lugia being in OU? Since Generation 8, it lost Toxic and Defog which means it can't do much as a support pokemon. It has Calm Mind and Recover so you could in theory attempt to sweep, but Ghold and Kingambit have such a good matchup into Lugia, as well as Unaware Clefable being easily able to take hits from Lugia. However, it does get Earth Power so I'm unsure.

    Hey there finch, just wondering about the differing requirements for suspects between OU and my home tier, Monotype: why are there certain brackets instead of a hard GXE cap and minimum game limit?

    no clue why Monotype does this, but OU adopted this last generation as it gave people optins. It still kept the firm 80 GXE minimum, but for those achieving higher marks, it required less minimum games
