Rilla destroys psy terrain, the solution is not running psy terrain

I don't think I'm good enough at NatDex to rate teams yet, but from my limited experience your team seems too slow and vulnerable to sweepers. Not really sure to how fix that tbh, I'm struggling with learning the tier myself
hey pink, i made this trick room team around glastier and i wanna know what u think. One of my favoirte parts abou it is that slowbro cna use chilly reception to give glastrier a bost and it can get some koes. https://pokepast.es/0e4785e6ad0301f7

On paper this doesn't look great, very slow and no solid defensive core. Test and see on ladder, but I'm not optimistic
    ScizorDaGoat
Did this mf just complain about a tr team being too slow

Hello Pinkacross! I've been a fan of your videos for a while and never thought to message you on showdown. I have been using a TR team to some success but was just curious on what you would do to optimize it.

Replacing Luna for Azu won't help much at all, still gets easily 2-shot by HLR and doesn't do much in return with Aqua Jet
    nosepath
Yeah haha I've seen what you meant first hand on ladder, I seemed to have peaked with this in the 1500s. Would you have any recommendations for a Cresselia set? The ones on smogon seem to be pretty passive and setup fodder.

Trick room, lunar dance, ice beam, tera blast fighting is pretty solid
Hey Pinkacross, I think I finally have a good team based around Volcanion, Weavile and Zamazenta that has done pretty well for me https://pokepast.es/73b883f2953da834 If you can help me in any way I would really appreciate it, if possible I would just like some help with Tera types and team rating

Thanks so much! Definitely felt that stall was a shaky matchup, I did get through most matchups (probably cuz I’m lower ladder), but it definitely felt scary. I feel like heavy duty boots Volcanion could put in almost as much work. I think I’m pretty ok into kingambit, but I will definitely attempt speedy weezing, I already have two walls in the back so I believe it will be ok. I will probably still use band Weavile.

Glowking + Kyurem synergy is crazy free team for Pinkacross or his subscribers only also feel free to use this in a video since I can't submit it the normal way.
got up to 1800s with this crazy shyte, would be cool to have the goat lmk whats good and what bad with it. appreciate the content always beast!

Kyurem is my main concern, as well as your lack of Ghost types. Tera can sorta fix both of these issues though, I'd slap Tera Ghost on Rbolt and Hrott for an impromptu spin blocker. Dnite will often be forced to Tera after getting a kill, since it gives Kyurem a free entry otherwise, but Dnite wants to Tera anyway so that might be OK.

for the rain team three booster energies is not good long term

Overqwil set is strange, might wanna try SD clear amulet. I'd also remove Iron Moth and use Specs Tornadus, tera flying cane moth isn't that good imo. Rest of the team seems fine but I personally prefer eject treads on rain
    Pinkacross
    Pinkacross
As for the double hwish team, seems pretty rough. I don't see any real structure or reason to have 2 hwish scarfers. Team has no real defensive core and isn't nearly powerful enough to justify it. I'd have to test it to be sure, but my guess is that it would perform very poorly on ladder.
    Cyberion
    Cyberion
im terrible, but I think like 6.5 cause the stall matchup or any bulky team matchup seems terrible it has almost all temporary items.
    Pinkacross
    Pinkacross
Lots of super inconsistent pokemon, specs thundurus is too slow and frail to fit, team hates Cinderace, and you have no answer for stall. Might cheese some people but the team seems random and has a lot of sweepers that are just bad imo. 4.5/10

Personally, I'd use a Comfey with a defensive tera type like Steel or Poison, and go Synthesis or Taunt over Tera Blast. Honestly the team looks pretty solid overall, I just don't think Gterrain HO is that great of an archetype
    ToasterFanatic
My thoughts on the Tera ground is that it is good into every fairy resist. However I suppose a stored power with decent setup could deal with them anyways. I’ll try synthesis over Tera blast, ty!
Hey pinkacross, I was wondering what would be the best use of uxie in ou (if it's even at all viable) it seems like it could be a similar pivot, albeit not even close to as good as glowking but with future sight and u-turn do you think it could possibly fit in to a similar role to glowking on some teams? Thanks for any help or advice you do give!
    Pinkacross
    Pinkacross
I honestly think Uxie is completely unusable. It can be used as a Stealth Rock pivot but there are much better options. You could also use a Physdef sweeping set, I'd recommend Tera Poison Leftovers, max physdef with CM draining kiss stored power and Encore. It does beat Kingambit which is pretty funny, since if the Gambit tries to SD you can encore it
    ct3thagod
Thank you I'll try that set out!
Hi, big (new) fan! Here's a team I'd really like some help with:
    https://pokepast.es/b0e4e6dcd0a79a42
Double Wish is funny but I wanna know if that idea is fundamentally flawed. You can replace any Pokemon. Here's the RMT if you need more info:

    Thank you!

I think Mamo hstack, and this set specifically, is very much viable. I honestly really like the team as well. My main advice would be making the pult darts (for the stall MU) and changing the Clefable to a different set, probably Sticky Barb. Double Wish isn't really needed, and Alo is a MUCH better passer.
hi pinka! I was doing a small 3v3 nat dex tournament, and I really liked this core, do you have any suggestions for what mons to add to make it work for normal nd formats, or where in the existing team to improve on? thanks, big fan of your slimy surfers team :]

I would avoid Hydreigon in general, I don't think it's a great pokemon. Volcarona and Ghold are both very solid though, probably you could fit the two of them on an offensive hazard stack team in ND OU.
    Cyberion
    Cyberion
I never did that cause my team is already ice weak
    Cyberion
    Cyberion
should I add glowking to allow my sweepers to come in easier because hamurot isn't doing much for me
    Pinkacross
    Pinkacross
No, Glowking on webs isn't a great idea. Try changing Hamurott to an SD set with Aqua Jet for Cinderace.
Hey Pinka! Wanted to justify using Electrode Hisui, and ended up putting this thing together. Was grinding OU and it’s been preforming really well. I think it’s an offense but not really sure, regardless can you point out any egregious weaknesses it may have, as well as its validity?

SD Gliscor and ground types in general concern me quite a bit. Even a defensive Landorus threatens this team big-time. As for the Electrode itself, I'd recommend removing Speed so you only outspeed pult and put some EVs in HP. Also, Leaf Storm is probably better than Chloroblast.
    DatriasTheStorm
    DatriasTheStorm
What would you recommend to get rid of those pesky ground types
    Pinkacross
    Pinkacross
You can't get rid of 'em (especially Gliscor), you need a switch-in. Perhaps try Corviknight over Hoodra.
Hi Pinkacross-- accidentally sent this as a PM so here's it again.

I've been trying to put together a team that could make Infernape decent in OU. I've tried various things, but what I've settled on is this: the VHS (Veil Hazard Stack).
    Ashgaming33
    Ashgaming33
The idea was to make a hyper-offense team that could support Infernape's frailty with veil and then use TankChomp to set up hazards Goltres also uses Veil and tends to be my late-game win condition.

I responded in the discussion you started! :]
Hey, back for like the billionth time; you’ve just been such a nice help. I conveniently was getting into natdex a couple days before you started but I can’t seem to get the hang of it- I’m consistently top 150 now in gen 9 OU but I can’t maintain a steady Elo in Natdex. It is as wild as 1450 to 1700. How do I fix this?

I can't really give specific advice without seeing a replay or a team-- there are a lot of reasons you might not be performing as you want.
