A ROM, Read Only Memory, is not at all like Pokesav. It's supposed to be an exact copy of the game on the retail cartridge. However, it can be placed on a flash card and the save files can be copied and backed up onto a computer. All RNG steps are taken exactly as one would when using a retail game.

All right, so I caught the Kyogre. Now before you ask another time if it's 100% legit, I don't do anything but RNG these things. If you're not sure about flash cart ROMs, go speak to an expert on this (like Expert Evan) and see what he has to say about pokes generated on flash cart ROMs. And remember, this particular ROM was created by me--it's a backup of an actual retail game in my household. And it's not redistributable. I know you intend to use it for a contest, but just making sure you know not to share it. If you decide to take it, you'll be the first to have it.

And make sure you like the NN you choose. Once I name it and transfer it to my retail game, I can't rename it without taking many more minutes of my time. I may not be able to trade until much later, btw. I have to leave the house in about 10 minutes.

If I say I can only trade on a certain date what do you think?
If you need them that desperately you could easily find a non-shiny one or just use a non-shiny one until a shiny one becomes available.
Now everything has temporarily fucked up for me as I no longer have a DS or a PC and have been told I will be without either for 6weeks. If you dont hear from me again, you might as well go somewhere else.

For AR codes, there will only be all pokeballs (all illegal balls removed from bag) and IV check on this pokemon. This will be my first Kyogre catch on this game and since I use save files to recatch, there is never a rebattle code involved. It is a flash cart game, not a retail game. As far as I can tell, the pokes that are generated on a ROM are the same as in a retail game. If you want to know for sure if there are any differences between pokes caught on a flash cart ROM and ones on a retail ROM, I suggest you VM or PM Expert Evan. All my ROM files are backups of my retail games, not downloads.
