    Pretty much, yeah. Basically, every seed has a different string of numbers (frames). Setting the DS time to a specific date and time, along with hitting the right delay, allows you to start up the game on any seed. From there, frame advancement is easy.
    PikaTimer is just an easy way to adjust your timing until you hit the right delay.

    I'm not sure at all, I caught them before I knew how to RNG so I never had any trouble with them.
    Do you know all the "RNG vocabulary," like delays and seeds and frames and all that?
    PikaTimer is pretty simple once you know what it does.

    Well, the most important things to do are familiarize yourself with RNG Reporter and PikaTimer. After that, it's pretty easy to get going.

    I didn't see anyone answer, and since I don't want to bump your question: Yes, sometimes two spreads is fine. Pick the one with the delay closest to 600.
