Did you test Protect by going "Protect, Protect, Move" or "protect, protect, move, move"? The glitch may have to do with how Protect is incremented and could be exaggerated over time.

The last slot is a hard choice as it is impossible for him to have perfect type coverage if you have body slam or return as a 3rd move.

I saw in an RMT you listed Blastoise as a good OU lead, I never thought of that. Rapid Spin on your first Poké seems like a great idea. -
