You've to be lucky. We dont have encounter slots for that sadly.
it's simple. You have to headbutt the trees in HG/SS. Your starting frame is 3 but its like capturing a normal pokè :D
Someone from Pokecommunity traded it to me, and told me it was legit after being hack checked.
It says frame 42. So Monster Frame which is 1, 128 Steps which is 5, and then 18 Journal flips would make frame 42 right?
Just a small trouble. I'm having trouble understanding this spreadsheet Smogon provides on the capturing Pokemon page. Seed is the thing we put into Seed to Time, but offset is Target Frame?
I haven't traded any Pokemon which aren't mine here on Smogon.
PS: Could you help me with this small problem I'm having with capturing Regigigas?
I do have a Swampert, but I didn't breed it. Is it Shiny and OT Lucas?
The only Pokemon I've ever traded on Smogon are my own.

That's exactly what I did, but I didn't use .sav files.
Oh, I think that's why my frame is wrong. I keep getting around 1000+ which is impossible. How did you find your frame with PID?

I used RSEdecode and PokeRNG.
Why would we have to work out the PID of the Pokemon? Is it necessary?
Ahhh I'm so confused! But If I use PokeRNG and RSEdecode, I can find the seed without creating a .sav file? So sorry for troubling you >.<
ah, but in shadowhunter's guide, it says "1) Save in front of the legend. (Actual .sav file)" So we don't have to?
that's okay, I guess you just have a fast comp. ;p
I have one last question for the day .. why do I have to create a .sav file before engaging the legendary? can't I just use save states?
phew. =P I wasn't really keen on replaying 1 hour of emerald.
also, is there a way to make the emulator run faster, besides all the things mentioned in shadowhunter's guide? -
