Hi Zari, I was wondering if you saw my last post in the RNG Research topic as to the pokemon I was encountering and how I can go about determining how they got generated. I tried looking at the PIDs related to method 1 & method k frames but could not seem to make heads or tails out of them.

As an update, I tried these 2 spreads again in my soul silver game, and in separate areas as well, and both of them still yielded me the exact same kricketot.
I may try my soul silver version later on to see if specie is any different.
update, I tried the one non-sync frames from both jolly ability 0 31/31/31/29/31/31 and adamant ability 1 31/31/31/17/31/31 and both only yielded me a kricketot on Saturday. I wonder if it applies to everybody's games as well.
I'm trying the bug catching contest with a smeargle that knows sweet scent, spore & false swipe, method k non-sync jolly ability=0 31/31/31/24/31/31 spread at frame 206. I can accomplish that by getting as far as frame 203 before sweet scenting, but I can't seem to understand how come I'm getting scyther as frame 203+1 has a PID of BF401CE6 and when I take the latter of 1CE6 and divide that by 656 it gets me 11, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. seed = 9809068E
I didnt Use VBA I use Desmume. :P I would also like to know the views of people who hacked Sweet Scent on a synch or hacked synch on a sweet scenter. :P

I will assume that the pokemons that dont appear in different days just replaces each other in the encounter slots as of the moment.

There's a bit of a problem. I'm not really sure what frame I hit cause my target frame has two following frames with shiny spreads. And one more thing... the other frames have different encounter slots. :(

To be completely honest myself, I'm beginning to doubt flovv's findings. Our ability to hit seeds within a range of +-20 is astounding given the not so infallible gcn controller mechanics. Sure, it is much more precise than human hands, but I doubt it's fast enough to get values that are mearly nearby, much less exact! I mean to go into vba soon and look at this firsthand. Oh, and I searched the thread for flovv's posts and he mentioned an offset of 4 ticks for the seed. -
