just wanted to ask the same thing when it said you were off. apparently, you're still on so let's get it done. my fc is 4340 5775 6644. need yours.

I know of a "decent" Brave 0spd spread on my cart (31 / 24 / 17 / x / 27 / 0, I can make it whatever nature I want). Problem is though, at the moment, we don't really know "how" those spreads are created on everybody's unique carts. So I can't tell you what date/time will yield a good spread on YOUR cart. Until we figure out how they're created, everybody pretty much has to Reset on their own cart, check the IVs and figure out for themselves what Date/Time gives what IVs.

I'm about 1/4 done with a guide.

At the moment that's the best we can do. I don't really think it's all that bad. Sure being able to "search for spreads on the Reporter would be nice, but this IS doable.

Yeah, at the moment we don't have RNG Reporter set up to search for seeds or spreads or anything. You basically have to:
1) Make a note of the date/time to the second that you select your game on the DS Startup Screen
2) Make sure to NOT turn the CGear on at the Continue Screen (it asks you if you want to turn it on after you select Continue. tell it no, then yes)
3) encounter some pokemon (stationary legendary, wild encounter, sweet scent, fossil all have the same IVs)
4) if it has good IVs, write down that that date/time gives good IVs

It's so easy to get IVs over and over again, just set your DS clock back and start at the same second (no delay involved). And once you find good IVs, there's a bunch of easy stuff you can do to change the PID (Nature/Gender/Ability/Shinyness) to whatever you want it to be (saving your game/walking in grass/biking in grass/turning in grass/Randomly Moving NPCs all change your PID).

Yes and no. Just ran into an "oddity" with Tornellos. It had all the IVs I predicted it would, but they were weirdly shifted around @_@. Other than that and the egg you get on Rt 18 from that dude in the Red Suit, all the mons I've encountered so far in the game get their IVs the same way, which is really nice. This means if you SR and come across 1 good set of IVs it works perfectly for 99% of the mons in the game. It's just kind of shifted around on your roamer. Haven't been able to check Zekrom/Reshiram/Kyumeru/Victini yet, but I doubt they're any different.

Oh, not yet. I'm stuck researching at that Steel/Fighting mon. I could hack ya one. It would still activate the event (trust me, won't hurt yer cart either. :P)

Yeah I've gotten... female earlybird sunkern, female scrappy swellow, and female... cloud 9 licktung! x) I'll have to shoot you some clones sometime. Since I've stopped to help out with the RNG Research, I've had to reset my DS Clock a lot, so I'll only be able to grow berries for quite a while.

Oh, about that, if you ever do decide to reset, we'll definitely have to help each other out so we don't loose all our mons.

Oh, and that really is pretty much all you have to do. Check out the RNG research thread for some of my findings. It's so rediculously easy to hit the same seed over and over again now. The only hard part is SRing till you find a seed with good IVs, but then you're good to go (nature doesn't matter cuz it's easy to change that while keeping the same IVs).

Have you started SRing for any of the legendaries on your cart? You could RNG them too. It's so much easier (more like SRing than RNGing at the moment).
