Wow 0.o I know they cracked some of it, so when I'm a little more comfortable with HGSS RNG, I hope to try some capturing in it. Hopefully by then they'll have the other way of RNG without C-gear figured out :3

I've hit my shiny seed for HG (yay!!) Now I was reading your guide for the IV's, and it says about going into the pokegear and calling elm (and matching the calls to frames) and since I don't have roamers, I should start on frame one, if I get to the pokegear immediately, correct?

Yeah, not too long after I messaged you I redownloaded the 8.4 reporter. I had the beta and that didn't allow me to expand my adjacents passed 99+/-. Thanks though for responding. Hopefully I can get it figured out. The chatroom I was talking about is here if you ever want to go there. A lot of Smogonites are there. ^_^

Hey Riski...do you use Mibbit at all? If so, could you go over to Smogonwifi? If not, I was reading your post in the 5th gen PRNG help and you were saying to set your adjacent delays to 999+/- and I can only set mine to 99+/- and I am wondering how to change it. Anyways, I think this is all I need to do to fix my issue of not finding my seed with the IVs I am getting.

hey. sorry to bug you, but i was reading your guide to RNGing, and I read the part about showing the Togepi to Elm, the only problem is, I either a) traded it away or b)realeased it. Am I totally screwed?

I downloaded Kaphotics sav files, but don't know how to import them into my game. I definitely need to get some of them particularly the hasty & naive versions at least.

if ya learn how to do IV RNG for C-Gear seeds as well as non C-Gear seeds, you can "derp" proof the guide on the thread and correct stuff so that it can either be the official site posted guide, or you can claim it as your own. Not many people have done much C-Gear seed hitting and testing on DS systems. Try testing the IV frame check code (goes 624(=0) thru 624, and repeats). I saw someone did use battling to advance the RNG, in Discuss my pokemon. Not sure if it was on a cart.

If you've got the beta reporter, just have at it and become a guru. This gen is 100% seed hitting with no verification, so lots of noobs are going to have questions.

Try to confirm stuff that's been posted this week, especially the date/time.
date at 0x23FFDC8, time at 0x23FFDCC (black, I think, since locations are -20h). Put those locations and make an AR code. Once we get the wild PID xor thing sorted out that will be tested, and then the shiny check on zekrom/reshiram. We've got everything else confirmed!
